Royal Mail - find a postcode by entering the address (free service).
Prospects - site aimed mainly at graduates; includes useful careers advice, job search advice and information about various occupations.
Do-it - national database of volunteering opportunities in the UK.

Learn Direct - provides free independent careers advice and e-learning courses in maths, English and IT.
